Alex Hormozi has published three core business books, in order: $100M Offers (2021), $100M Leads (2023), and $100M Money Models (2025), plus a 2025 audiobook-only supplement, $100M Lost Chapters. Read in that sequence, they map to a build order: fix what you sell, then how you get attention, then how you monetize each member further.
AdvLaunch is the paid community growth agency — we design and run the paid challenge and webinar funnels that fill Skool, Whop, Circle, Kajabi, and Mighty Networks communities, and Hormozi's frameworks sit underneath a lot of that work. This page orders his three books by the problem each one solves for a paid-community operator, not by publication date alone, so you read the one your business actually needs next, instead of starting wherever a bookstore shelf happens to put it.
A note on these figures
This run could not fetch acquisition.com/books directly (blocked by network egress), the same pattern as every vendor and author page checked in this loop since 2026-10-01. The publication order and three-core-book count are cross-checked across multiple independent retailer and press sources, checked 2026-10-14. $100M Lost Chapters is confirmed as an audiobook-only supplementary release (no print edition found), not a fourth standalone title — verify the current catalog on acquisition.com/books before quoting it anywhere time-sensitive.
The 3 Core Books, in Order
Hormozi's publishing order and the order that actually helps a paid-community operator are the same one: $100M Offers, then $100M Leads, then $100M Money Models. Each book assumes the previous one's problem is mostly solved — Leads assumes you already have an offer worth advertising, and Money Models assumes you already have members to design upsells for. Read out of order and you're absorbing advice for a stage you haven't reached yet, which is why no amount of underlining Money Models fixes a business that doesn't have a working offer.
| Decision factor | $100M Offers (2021) | $100M Leads (2023) |
|---|---|---|
| Problem it solves | You don't have an offer people want | Your offer works, but not enough people see it |
| Core framework | The Value Equation (dream outcome × likelihood ÷ time delay × effort) | The Core Four (warm outreach, content, cold outreach, paid ads) |
| Read this first if | You're guessing at price and positioning | You have paying members already and need more of them |
| Applied to a paid community | Sets membership tiers, pricing, and the guarantee | Sets which acquisition channel you actually run first |

$100M Offers — Read This First If You Don't Have an Offer Yet
The Value Equation is the book's one idea worth remembering on its own: perceived value rises with the dream outcome and the perceived likelihood of achieving it, and falls with the time delay and the effort required. For a paid community, that means the membership tier itself has to promise a specific outcome, make that outcome feel achievable (via proof, a guarantee, or a clear path), and compress how long it takes to see the first win. A $49/month community that never names what a member actually gets in week one is solving the wrong variable. For the full section-by-section breakdown — niching, naming, guarantees, bonus stacks — see $100M Offers, summarized for community operators.
$100M Leads — Read This Second If Your Offer Works but Leads Don't
The Core Four reduces every lead-generation method to four channels — warm outreach, content, cold outreach, and paid ads — run in that order, then scaled with more volume and better testing before adding a fifth channel. For a paid-community operator specifically, the chapter that matters most is the one on landing pages, and it's also the one that transfers worst: Hormozi assumes a generic opt-in page you fully control, while most community operators are driving traffic into a platform-hosted signup page with far less tracking control. That gap is exactly where a dedicated funnel outside the platform earns its cost. For the full breakdown, see $100M Leads, summarized for community operators.
$100M Money Models — Read This Third If Revenue per Member Is Flat
Money Models is the newest of the three (launched August 2025) and the one with the least AdvLaunch-specific precedent to borrow from, because it addresses a problem the first two don't touch: a buyer who already said yes once. Its core idea is sequencing — an attraction offer that earns a first dollar cheaply, then upsells, downsells, and continuity products that raise revenue per customer without raising ad spend. Applied to a paid community, that's the difference between a single $49/month tier and a ladder: a low-cost entry tier, a core paid community, and a higher-touch mastermind or done-with-you tier above it, each one justified by what the last tier proved a member wanted next. For the full breakdown, see $100M Money Models, summarized for community operators.
You don't have a paid-community offer people actually want yet
Start with $100M Offers
Fix the Value Equation first — dream outcome, likelihood, time delay, effort — before spending a dollar on leads for an offer nobody's asking for.
Your offer converts, but you don't have enough people seeing it
Read $100M Leads next
Work the Core Four in order — warm outreach, content, cold outreach, paid ads — and patch the platform-signup-page gap the book doesn't name directly.
Members exist, but revenue per member has gone flat
Read $100M Money Models
Design the upsell/downsell/continuity ladder above and below your core tier before assuming the fix is more top-of-funnel spend.
Applying the Sequence to a Paid Community Specifically
Stacked together, the three books map onto three decisions a paid-community operator makes in order, not in parallel: what the membership tiers are and what they promise (Offers), which single channel brings in the first cohort of paying members before any others get added (Leads), and what a member is offered once they've already paid once (Money Models). Skipping straight to Money Models' upsell ladder with no Offers-grade value proposition just adds more things to sell to people who were never sold the first thing properly — the ladder only works once the first rung holds weight.

How AdvLaunch Fits Into Applying Hormozi's Frameworks
Reading the books gets you the frameworks. It doesn't run the funnel that puts them into practice, and that's the part we build. We call the system The Community Flywheel™:
- Hook: a Meta ad sends cold traffic to a paid challenge or webinar funnel we control, built around the offer you designed using the Value Equation — not straight to a cold sales page.
- Result delivered: over seven days or one live event, your method produces a real outcome, so people experience the teaching — the Leads half of the system — before they're asked to buy.
- Community upsell: graduates get your paid community at a founder rate, which is the Money Models ladder's first rung, built on a warm audience instead of cold traffic.
- Retention compounds: members arrive already having experienced a win, and we measure retention against that campaign cohort instead of a generic benchmark.
| Decision factor | Reading the books | What AdvLaunch builds on top |
|---|---|---|
| Offer design | A framework (the Value Equation) for designing your own offer | A built challenge or webinar funnel carrying that offer, with 8 Meta ad creatives in the Launch Pack |
| Lead channels | The Core Four framework for picking a channel | Meta ads running cold traffic into the funnel, with pixel setup and an attribution dashboard |
| Money models | Upsell/downsell/continuity design principles | The community itself built as the first upsell rung, with the funnel already carrying the handoff |
| Execution time | Your own time to read, plan, and implement | A 30-day sprint (Launch Pack) or ongoing monthly execution (Scale Program) |
| Cost | $0 (library) to roughly $30 per book | $3,000 Launch Pack (30-day sprint) or $8,000/month Scale Program, plus ad spend paid separately from your own Meta account (we recommend $1,500+/month on the Launch Pack) |

None of this requires picking a side between reading and hiring — most of our clients have already read at least one of these books before they call us. The frameworks tell you what the offer, the channel, and the upsell ladder should look like; they don't buy the Meta ad, build the landing page, or set up the pixel that proves any of it actually converted. AdvLaunch never promises a guaranteed member count or result — ad spend and outcomes are scoped with you on a strategy call, and the only client numbers we cite publicly are the ones stated on our own Premier Business Academy case study.
